ADDITIONS TO MAMA MEL’S WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC (“Mama Mel’s”) may utilize your image (including likeness and voice) as well as your pet(s)’ likeness for purposes of marketing on social media or on Mama Mel’s website. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that your pet’s photograph if submitted along with any testimonial to Mama Mel’s may be used for any purpose. By purchasing a Mama Mel’s product, you hereby agree and consent to the use in any manner of any such photograph, audio, video, or other recording or depiction of your or your pet(s)’ likeness by us or our designee without remuneration, including without limitation in all forms of media, whether now or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, and in all manners, including advertising, trade, display, editorial, and exhibition. You further understand and agree that any such photograph, audio, video, statement or other recording or depiction of your likeness or your pet(s)’ may be modified, altered, cropped, and combined with other content such as images, video, audio, text, and graphics, and hereby waive any right that you may have to inspect or approve any finished image, video, or audio containing a depiction of your or your pet(s)’ likeness. You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Mama Mel’s and its employees, agents, owners and representatives from and against any and all liability, damage, loss, and/or claims of any kind or nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, any and all claims and demands relating to libel, invasion of privacy, and violation of publicity rights.

 

In no event shall Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of any edible product purchased herein. You agree and acknowledge that any product purchased should be used at your own risk and you should assess the risks individual to your pet(s) before purchasing any product or giving any product to your pet. There is no warranty that the information on this website is accurate or complete. Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC reserves the right to correct any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not accept any responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information, content, materials, services, products, merchandise, functionality, or other resources available through this service, including the food sold. Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC does not accept any liability for the consequences arising from the misuse or inappropriate storage of the product sold by this company, including any injury and/or damage to any person, property or pet as a matter of product liability, negligence, or otherwise. You agree that in the event that Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC is deemed liable for any harm caused, the amount which it shall be liable to you shall be limited to the cost of the product.

Before feeding your pet(s) any product purchased from this site, you should consult a veterinarian for potential medical issues your pet may face with the use of our product. All breeds and needs of pets differ. Your chosen diet may need to be different depending on health, age and feeding practices. The products sold herein are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. You assume all liability for the treatment of your pet.

All products prepared and sold by Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC are not cooked. The pet food which is sold through this site contains raw meat and poultry products. Products from Mama Mel’s Pet Food, LLC are strictly intended for the pet food industry ONLY and are NOT for human consumption. The ingredients are either immediately frozen or appropriately chilled to ensure quality. All machinery used in our feed kitchen is regularly washed and disinfected. We do our best to ensure that all our feed products are as fresh and free of bacteria as possible.

These products may contain bacteria which may cause illness in humans and potentially harm animals. We do have very high standards in our product and expect to provide the best and freshest product to our customers. However, we always recommend following health and safety practices.

The following are a non-exhaustive list of health and safety recommendations following a purchase of our products:

1. Use safe food handling methods at home.

2. Keep any raw dog food away from all human food.

3. Wash hands and utensils thoroughly after handling.

4. Keep raw dog food frozen to -20c at all times until you choose to feed. When you are ready to feed it to your pet, thaw it in the refrigerator.

5. If any unused portions remain, refrigerate the remaining portion to be used at a later time, unless spoiled.

6. If raw dog food has spoiled, please do NOT feed it to your pet. Discard the spoiled portion immediately.
